Delivery is never a mere procedure at Community Hospital of Los Gatos. We take pride in providing an atmosphere where caring is everywhere. We provide both a maternity nurse for mom, and a nursery nurse for baby at the time of birth. The Family Birth Place offers beautifully appointed private Labor, Delivery, Recovery and postpartum rooms, where your room becomes your home during labor and delivery. Each suite features a comfortable setting including a large private bathroom with a full sized shower and a bidet.

Our staff of physicians, nurses, and midwives in the Family Birth Place are highly qualified, and supported by some of the latest advanced medical technology. Our physicians and midwives are committed to working with you, since we want your baby’s birth to be exactly the experience you want it to be. Your baby can remain right in your room so you can get acquainted with your new son or daughter, or when you are tired, baby can be cared for in a well staffed nursery nearby.

We’re also proud to provide some of the latest technology in infant and child security systems; designed to give parents the ultimate in peace of mind. This system provides ankle bands that can only be removed by our staff. Any attempt to remove or tamper with the baby’s ankle band will set off alarms and lock the doors.
